Are you a fully qualified HGV Fitter/Mechanic/Technician living in the Shepton Mallet area looking for a workshop based role?Are you looking for a Monday to Friday shift? Working between 6am and 6pm45 hours per weekSalary: up to £47,000 d.o.e plus overtimePermanent, Full Time positionThe role of the HGV Technician:You will be working on a variety of tractor and trailer units of differing makes and models, RCV's, refuse vehicles, gritters and sweepers. You will be carrying out inspections to a varied and diverse fleet and you can expect to be situated in a positive and vibrant working environment.The type of work as a HGV Technician you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to) Routine (and preventative) maintenanceMOT preparationScheduled servicing to DVSA standards6 (or 8) weekly inspectionsHydraulics and pneumaticsElectrical and wiring inspections and corrections Requirements for this HGV Technician position: Ideally you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent.Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification would be desirable but not essential.
