7.5 TONNE DELIVERY DRIVERS WANTED - NEW PASSES ACCEPTED - FULL TIME - 12 WEEKS TEMP 2 PERM - IMMEDIATE STARTSteer Staffing are currently recruiting for7.5 tonneDelivery Drivers, to join a distribution and delivery company based in Leeds.You will be delivering customers orders to their houses and office sites, working with a Drivers Mate to support you on all deliveries route plans are put together for your daily, and your vehicle is pre loaded each morning.The shifts are 5 days on and 3 days off, the days will be on a rota basis, with two 30-minute breaks, morning, and afternoon.The role is on a 12-week tempperm basis, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to secure a job with a well-established, reputable company, they will invest in you, and in return they are looking for hardworking, reliable and honest people to join their team.A DBS check will be required for this role.The duties of the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver include:Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving roleEnsuring the right products get to the right places at the right timeInstalling a range of various products for our customersFollowing a delivery routePre calling customers before arrivalFilling in paperwork as and when requiredRemoving all packaging from each deliveryThe ideal7.5 tonne Delivery Driver will have:Experience within a similar roleA full Class C1 UK/EA licence with no more than six penalty pointsCPC cardTachograph cardA passion for delivering great customer serviceThe ability to handle heavy goodsA clean DBSThe hours of work for the7.5 tonne Delivery Driver are 5 days on 3 days off, the working days cover any 5 over MondaySunday, you must be available to work between the hours of 7.00am6.15pm, if the deliveries are completed early, you will finish early, as long as no one else needs support.The salary for the7.5 tonne Delivery Driverwill be £13.60 per hour, on a 12-week temp to perm basis.
