Our expertise as a multi-disciplinary engineering partner across infrastructure, process and digital services has led to long term partnerships with leading organisations in everything from food and drink and utilities to high-security industries such as defence, aerospace and nuclear.We have the opportunity for a Compliance Team Leader to be based at our office in Peterborough. The work will entail largely electrical scope of compliance installation projects such as machinery safety upgrades, electrical control panel remedials and modifications, ATEX area installations, ATEX asset inspections & remedials. Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation of automation & safety related parts of control systems (existing & new)Installation of cabling and containment systemsElectrical panel assessments and remedial actionsElectrical testing of new and existing installationsInstallation in designated ATEX environmentsATEX inspections and asset remedial actionsMobilisation and understanding of project installation requirementsProject installation timelines are achievedQuality controlCommissioningProject documentationLeading a team undertaking electrical installation in an industrial/manufacturing environmentInstalling electrical cable systems and containmentInstalling to wiring, cable block and termination diagramsBuilding/working in existing and new automation & control panelsSkills and ExperienceKnowledge of PLC control wiring systems, instrumentation, and motor starter control typesUnderstanding of relevant standards to machinery safety & electrical controlsCompEX 01-06 and/or experience working in designated ATEX areasKnowledge / experience of machinery safety and safety circuits.
