CareerMakers are currently looking for a Estimator to join our client in theWarrington area on a permanent basis.Start Date: ASAPAs an Estimator, youll play a vital role in the pre-construction phase of our civil projects. You'll be responsible for analysing tender documents, preparing accurate cost estimates, and contributing to successful bid submissions. This is a key role where attention to detail and industry experience are essential.Responsibilities:Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects.Review and assess tender documentation.Identify risks and opportunities within the scope of works.Work closely with the commercial and delivery teams to ensure smooth project handover.Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings when required.Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.Prepare bills of quantities and pricing documents.Requirements:Strong experience as an EstimatorProficient in estimating softwareExcellent analytical and numerical skillsStrong communication and negotiation abilitiesSelf-motivated with a proactive approach to workStrong knowledge of infrastructure, drainage, earthworks, and highways projectsIf you would be interested in this position please applyTPBN1_UKTJ
