Titan Airways has a requirement for permanent, full time B1 Licenced Engineers to join our Engineering team, based primarily at London Stansted Airport, Essex.The main duties and responsibilities of the role are:Completion of the tasks allocated to them on a shift by shift basis by the UK Station Manager or Shift Supervisor, or carried out as part of their routine duties, in accordance with company procedures;Certification of the work carried out by themselves under the terms of, and within thelimitations set by, the personal company authorisation;Supervision duties in respect of the mechanics, handlers, Interiors Technicians and aircraft cleaners as allocated by the Shift Supervisor;Ensuring that they are familiar with the MOE procedures and work instructions that affect their duties;Performing engineering duties Away from Base or at outstations as detailed by theMaintenance Manager or UK Station Manager, including acting in, and representing theCompany in a manner acceptable to the Company;Operate as a flying engineer on flights that require such a function with the ability to depart with the aircraft at short notice;Ensuring that the cleanliness and interior trim of the aircraft are maintained to company standard;Ensuring that the engineering facility, vehicles and equipment are clean and serviceable and aircraft are positioned in the hangar or on the Titan designated parking area whereverpossible.The following requirements are essential for this role:Ideal candidates must hold a UK CAA + EASA - PART 66 Licence and have a minimum 6 months experience within the past two years, on at least two of the following aircraft/engine types:EMB190 GE CF 34, A320 CFM/V2500 + Leap, A330 RR T700,Hold or obtain a recency letter from QA Department along with Company authorisation from most recent employerProvide supporting Logbooks or worksheets demonstrating recencyEWIS, FTS, HF (Initial + recurrent)Previous line and base maintenance experienceCandidates must have excellent communication skills with a flexible approachBe willing to work away from base to support the fleet and company operations and to be able travel at short notice as a flying Engineer or with AOG recoveryShift work including nights, working a 5x5x4 shift patternHold a full and valid Driving LicenceHold a valid Passport with the ability to reside and work in the UK. (Pre-settled, settled status share code or citizenship application will be required if shortlisted to interview)Be computer literateAbility to provide information for 5 year referencingAbility to pass a pre-employment drugs and alcohol screeningThis role requires access to operationally sensitive information and occasional airside access.
