Driver Hire York & Harrogate are looking to expand their team by adding a Recruitment Consultant on a permanent basis. Due to business needs, we are looking at growing our team for future development.Driver Hire is the UKs largest specialist transport and logistics recruitment company, we offer temporary and permanent driving jobs, non-driving work and driver training.This will begin as more of a trainee role, assisting the franchisee with the day to day running of operations with the view to progress into more senior roles and tasks.Job ResponsibilitiesGeneral data entry (inputting client and candidate details into database)Handling incoming calls and making outgoing callsInterviewing and registering candidatesMaking targeted new business callsReplying to emails and handling queries in a timely mannerProviding excellent customer service at all timesManaging candidates and clients, handling their requirementsAnswering our on call phone, on a rota basis (This will be required when fully trained)DesiredSkillsAbility to communicate with others face to face, over the phone or via video callsAbility to work to deadlines in a calm, professional mannerGood time management skills and able to prioritise where requiredPersonal QualitiesFriendly and courteous at all timesA good team playerReliable and dependableOtherRequirementsBased within a 15 mile radius of YorkAccess to own car at all times whilst working in order to be able to commute to and from client premises (expenses paid)As we are a small team there will be occasions when you will be expected to work alone in the office once fully trained.This position may be ideal for any candidate that has previous experience dealing with people on a frequent basis such as:RecruitmentTelesales/ SalesCustomer ServiceAdministrationLogisticsContracted days of work will be Monday to Friday & hours will be 09.00-17.00.
