Join our dynamic logistics team as a Night Trunk Driver and be the backbone of our overnight freight movement!About the Role:As a Night Trunk Class 1 Driver, you will take charge of transporting goods safely and efficiently between distribution hubs during the night. Your shift will start at 19:00, running Monday to Friday, giving you your weekends free. This role is perfect for someone who thrives working independently and takes pride in punctual and safe deliveries.Key Responsibilities:Operate Class 1 vehicles on trunk routes, starting at 19:00 each eveningEnsure timely and secure delivery of freight between depotsPerform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicleComply with all road safety, legal, and company policiesMaintain accurate delivery records and vehicle logsReport any vehicle faults or incidents promptlyAssist with loading and unloading when requiredWhat Were Looking For:Valid Class 1 drivers license with a clean driving recordPrevious experience driving Class 1 vehicles, preferably on night shifts or long-haul routesExcellent knowledge of transport regulations and safety standardsAbility to work focused night shifts independentlyStrong time management and communication skillsPhysically able to assist with manual tasks if necessaryDependable and punctual attitudeWhat We Offer:Competitive pay at £19.00 per hourMonday to Friday, 19:00 start (weekends off!)Supportive team and modern fleetOpportunities for training and career growthTPBN1_UKTJ
