You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance at heights of up to120ftand in temperatures as low as-23C . This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer experienced inFMCG, automation, or warehouse engineeringto join a cutting-edge operation. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and operate critical automated systems including conveyors, cranes, cooling systems, and oxygen reduction systems.Deliverplanned preventative maintenance (PPM)and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.Work to operational KPIs and supportcontinuous improvementinitiatives.Adhere to safety guidelines and maintenance plans to ensure full compliance.Liaise with suppliers, manage warranty work, and coordinate service visits.Support warehouse operations to maintain efficient logistics and equipment performance.Manage engineering stock, spare parts, and inventory control.Produce clear and timely engineering reports for the Engineering Manager.Identify and implement energy-saving, cost-efficient improvements across the facility.Qualifications & ExperienceEssential: NVQ Level 3 in Multi-Skilled Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)Apprentice-trained engineering backgroundExperience within anFMCG automated warehouse ,distribution centre , orindustrial engineering environmentDesirable: Cold store ,freezer warehouse , orammonia refrigeration plantexperienceExperience working at heightsStrong problem-solving and fault-finding skills in automated systemsKey AttributesA proactive, can-do attitudeStrong teamwork and communication skillsFlexibility to meet operational engineering requirementsNote:This job description outlines the core responsibilities of the role.
