You will be responsible for designing high-precision injection mould tools—from single-impression moulds to multi-cavity hot runner systems—supporting customers in themedical, automotive, switchgear, and packagingsectors.Working Hours 41.5 hours per week Monday–Thursday:08:00 – 17:00 Friday:08:00 – 16:00Main Duties & Responsibilities Designing injection mould tools (single impression and multi-cavity hot runner) Component design and optimisation Participating in and conducting design reviews Applying Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles Producing detailed 3D & 2D designs (Pro/Engineer Creo and SolidWorks desirable) Managing projects from concept to manufacture Providing customer interaction and technical supportRequired Skills & Experience Proven experience ininjection mould design ; Toolmaking experience preferred Strong knowledge of: Side cores, up-and-aways, lifters, and complex motions Hot runner systems Steel type selection and polymer behaviour Hydraulics and machining strategies Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality or safety Strong communication and teamwork skillsBenefits Company pension scheme Annual health checks Permanent, stable role within an established engineering environment IND/LETTPBN1_UKTJ
