Commercial Gas Engineer Bournemouth Permanent Full-Time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)Role Overview We are seeking an experiencedCommercial Gas Engineerwith a strong background in commercial building maintenance to join a dedicated team supporting national retail contracts. This is a mobile role, covering a wide portfolio of commercial premises, where you will be responsible forplanned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive breakdowns, fault-finding, and small worksacross a variety of gas systems and HVAC plant.Key Responsibilities Carry out boiler lockouts and resets Diagnose and repair faults with warm air units and radiant tube heaters Identify and resolve leaks on gas pipework or isolation valves Address pilot light or ignition failures Investigate pressure loss or circulation issues in heating systems Rectify gas interlock faults in kitchens or plant rooms Repair faulty thermostats, sensors, or actuators Respond to emergency call-outs for heating and hot water failures Essential Skills & Qualifications Valid commercial gas qualifications ( COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1/1A )essential Strong technical knowledge of heating systems, boilers, and associated plant Experience in retail, commercial, or multi-site maintenance environments (preferred) Ability to manage both planned and reactive maintenance tasks Willingness to participate in an on-call rota (enhanced pay available) Full UK driving licenceIf this role has taken your interest, or you have any questions, apply with your latest CV and I will be in touch to discuss the next steps of your application.Ross Stott @Utilise TPBN1_UKTJ
