1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Faringdon Start Date: ASAP / January 2026 Pay: £89-£100 per day A caring and inclusive primary school in Faringdon is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with an EHCP. This role is ideal for someone patient, nurturing and enthusiastic about helping children with additional needs succeed. Role Responsibilities Provide personalised 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN Assist with learning tasks, daily routines and emotional regulation Follow the pupil's EHCP and implement strategies advised by the SENCO Promote confidence, engagement and independence Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team Ideal Candidate Experience supporting children with SEN (school or care environment) A genuine passion for working with children with additional needs Keen to develop SEN skills or progress within education This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive Faringdon primary school.
