Training Supervisor LGV Driver & Frontline TrainerManchester: M18 Salary: £38,000 per yearHours: Monday to Friday About the RoleWere looking for a motivated Driver Trainer to join our team in Manchester. In this vital role, youll deliver high-quality training to drivers, loaders, operatives and supervisors across recycling and waste management contracts. Youll ensure operational teams have the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to work safely and effectively every day. If youre an experienced trainer or an experienced LGV driver from the waste industry or another service sector, wed love to hear from you. Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Support Support depots in achieving Vehicle Gate Check, Crew Monitoring and Route Risk Assessment targets.Mentor staff to correct unsafe or non-compliant behaviours.Escalate significant vehicle condition or cleanliness issues to the Business Manager.Training Delivery Deliver high-quality training in line with internal training standards and contract requirements.Adapt training content to the needs of different contracts and operational teams.Driver Coaching & Compliance Coach drivers to improve performance, reduce incidents and avoid Operator Licence breaches.Report any driver competency concerns to Business Managers.Depot-Based Training (DBT) Lead training in areas such as: Wheel torquingManual handlingVehicle defect checksIn-cab PDA useTachographs/logbooksDriver debrief proceduresWhat Were Looking For (Essential Requirements)LGV Category C (Class 2) LicenceValid Driver CPCKnowledge of transport legislationExperience in the waste industry or another service-based sectorUnderstanding of time-critical service environmentsConfident with IT systems and Microsoft OfficeStrong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlinesTPBN1_UKTJ
