The ideal candidate will have Engineering Technician experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally with a GMP focus. You should be people-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and enjoy building positive relationships across the team. Role PurposeTo support the smooth and efficient running of production line machinery by correctly setting up lines during changeovers, ensuring efficient operation, attending breakdowns, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Duties & Key ResponsibilitiesWorking with Engineers and Hygiene Operatives, set up production lines for upcoming runs by following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to changeovers, hygiene, and quality checksMonitor performance on SIC boards to drive line efficiencyConduct routine maintenance and calibration on equipment and tools to ensure accuracy and reliable performanceAssist in troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment, system, and process issues, proposing solutions and improvements where possibleCollaborate with team members to ensure production goals are consistently metMaintain clean, tidy work areas and ensure tools and parts are removed after tasks are completedFollow all Health & Safety procedures and maintain required documentationProactively identify opportunities to improve line performanceRecord parts used and update the stores inventory accordinglyKey Skills & AttributesStrong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlinesFlexible attitude and eagerness to learn and develop across all aspects of machinery operationExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersGood practical knowledge of hand toolsStrong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesSolid IT skills across multiple systems and software platformsTPBN1_UKTJ
