Job Title:Quantity SurveyorLocation:Manchester / Greater Manchester (Site-Based & Office Hybrid) Sector:ResidentialNew-Build Apartments (MidHigh Rise) Salary Range:£50,000£60,000 + Car Allowance + PackageRole Overview:Our client, a reputable and growing main contractor are looking to recruit a Intermediate /Project Quantity Surveyor to help deliver apartment schemes across the Manchester and Cheshire areas. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in the commercial management of high-spec residential developments from groundworks to handover. Youll be working on multi-phase apartment schemes (£8million£25million in value), with full involvement from early procurement through to final accounts.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Lead commercial delivery across live projects and upcoming phasesPrepare tender packages and lead subcontractor procurementManage cost reporting, CVRs, and financial forecastingAttend project and design team meetings, offering commercial inputPrepare valuations, track variations and change controlWork with site teams to monitor progress and cost impactEnsure compliance with contractual obligations and company standardsMaintain strong client and subcontractor relationshipsProvide support to junior QS staff where applicableRequired Skills & Experience:Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum 4 years post-graduate QS experienceProven track record delivering new-build residential developmentsStrong working knowledge of JCT D&B contractsExcellent numeracy, commercial acumen, and negotiation skillsCompetent in cost software systems and ExcelTPBN1_UKTJ
