This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in the development of an innovativeMPharm programme , currently atStage 2 of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) accreditation process .You will lead the design and delivery of thescience curriculum , ensuring it is contemporary, integrated, and aligned with the GPhCs 2021 Initial Education and Training Standards. Working closely with colleagues across science and practice disciplines, you will help shape a programme that prepares graduates for the evolving world of pharmacy.What Youll Be Doing- Leading the development and delivery of science content across all years of the MPharm. - Driving the integration of science and practice within a modern, student-centred curriculum. - Supporting the Schools accreditation journey through curriculum design, documentation, and engagement with the GPhC. - Providing academic leadership and mentoring to colleagues in pharmaceutical sciences. - Contributing to research and scholarly activity in pharmaceutics or pharmacy education.What Were Looking For- A PhD in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related field. - Significant experience in teaching and curriculum development in higher education. - A strong understanding of the GPhCs educational standards and their implications for science education. - A track record of academic leadership and collaborative working. - A commitment to innovation, inclusion, and excellence in pharmacy education.Why Join Us?This is an exciting time to join a forward-thinking institution committedto interdisciplinary education, practice-informed teaching , andstudent success .
