These roles suit people who can bring patience, awareness, and a grounded presence to pupils who need thoughtful support each day.What youll be doing Supporting pupils with autism, communication needs, or social, emotional and behavioural needsHelping students settle into lessons and follow clear routinesWorking one to one or in small groups to build confidence and engagementAssisting teachers with adapted activities and simple intervention workHelping pupils manage transitions and stay focused throughout the dayCreating a calm, predictable environment where pupils feel secureWhat settings will be looking for Recent experience (6+ months within the last 3 years) supporting pupils with SEN in a school or specialist environmentA calm, patient and consistent approachSomeone who notices small details and responds thoughtfullyConfidence working independently and as part of a teamReliability and a genuine interest in helping young people feel understood and supportedA Level 3 TA qualification or a related background (such as psychology, youth work, care or health and social care) is helpful but not essential.
