Job Description Were seeking an experiencedElectrical Pump Service Engineer (Field Based)to join a leading specialist in pumping equipment solutions, a business with over sixty years of expertise in the industry. This role is based around theStoke-on-Trentregion! Youll work primarily on construction sites supporting wastewater operationscarrying out servicing, breakdown response, commissioning, and installation of pumping systemswhile working closely alongside a skilled Mechanical Engineer. Your patch will mainly coverStaffordshire, Shropshire and Cheshire , with only occasional overnight stays required. Were looking for an electrically biased engineer with aLevel 3 Electrical qualificationplus17th or 18th Edition , ideally with experience in pumping equipment, valves, pipework, drainage, utilities, or similar environments across wastewater or clean water sites. This is aFull-Time, Permanentposition! What youll be doing Electrical servicing, installation and commissioning of a wide range of pumping systems including pumps, pumping stations, kiosks, control panels and monitoring systems Carry out maintenance, inspections and performance monitoring of equipment Diagnose faults, troubleshooting and undertake high-quality repairs Respond to service calls and emergency breakdowns Complete accurate site reports and maintain clear records Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the business professionally Drive the company van and ensure it is well stocked and maintained Manage petty cash and process payments efficiently Hours Monday-Friday, Day Shifts, 40 hours per week (flexibility required) Pay £36,000 - £38,000 per annum (depending on experience) with anOTE of up to £45,000 Overtime paid at time 1/3 & time 1/2 Skills/Experience Required Essential Previous hands-on experience with pumping equipment such as pumps, control systems, monitoring systems or similar 17th or 18th Edition qualification NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering Full UK driving licence Willingness to stay away from home occasionally Preferred CSCS card First Aid training Confined space certification Benefits Fully funded pension (after 3 years service) 30 days holiday (including bank holidays), rising to 33 after 1 year Annual performance-related bonus Private healthcare, critical illness & death in service cover Ongoing training & career progression opportunities Modern working environment Day shiftsno weekends Free on-site parking Growing, long-established business Overtime available and paid at enhanced rates All expenses covered Tools provided Flexible working arrangements Minimal overnight stays (approx. once a fortnight) Essential All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).
