Waste Management Officer –Hertfordshire £16.85 ph Umbrella (approx. £26,325.00 per annum) 2-3 month initial contract with view for extension Accountabilities: Check agreed standards and perform inspections of work, in line with government guidance / code of practice, carried out by contractors, as directed by the Waste Contracts Manager, for waste, recycling, street cleansing, and keep accurate records of the findings and standards achieved. Undertake inspections of assets and undertake local environmental quality surveys such as cleanliness and bin condition at the direction of the Waste Contracts Manager. Undertake administrative functions associated with various waste management IT systems including recording appropriate data for the Waste Contract Manager. Record incidences of graffiti identified following set procedures for notifying property owners.
