For the successful Workshop Fitters, our client is offering:Competitive salary paying up to £33,000 depending on experience Monday to Friday (Days 8am-5:15pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays) Permanent vacancies within a expanding business Overtime is paid at time/half over standard hours. The Role - Workshop Fitters: Fitting of a variety of products onto a variety of Trucks Hydraulics work Working from engineering drawings Use of hand and power tools Carrying out necessary repairs where required Carrying out installation work (Fitting of a variety of products onto the backs of Wagons) Wiring Installing cranes on to the back's of Wagons Bolting up What our client is looking for in a Workshop Fitter: Previous fitting or mechanical assembly experience -ESSENTIAL Good Engineering knowledge Knowledge of Hydraulics Experienced working from engineering drawing -ESSENTIAL Fitting experience working on HGVs is highly advantageous.
