The role involves working across occupied and void properties in South Yorkshire, with a primary focus on replacing and installing fire doors to meet current fire safety standards. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and experienced joiner looking for long-term, stable work with a well-established organisation that values quality and safety. Key Responsibilities - Remove and install fire doors in line with fire safety standards. - Carry out associated joinery tasks such as fitting frames, architraves, and ironmongery. - Work independently across domestic properties, ensuring a high standard of finish. - Communicate professionally with tenants and housing staff. - Use a PDA or job management system to log completed work. Requirements - NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry & Joinery. - Proven experience fitting fire doors in residential or social housing settings. - Full UK driving licence. - Good understanding of fire door installation to meet safety standards. - Ability to work in occupied homes with professionalism and care. - DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
