Tech Lead Full Stack Developer - Ecommerce Startup 85-100k + discretionary bonus Hybrid - minimum 2 days per month in the London office Very high growth (>200% CAGR) Ecommerce startup is seeking an experienced full stack Tech Lead, crucially technically hands-on, to own the technology stack and guide a small engineering team. The Tech Lead will be directly responsible for shipping critical code, while also mentoring other engineers, driving technical strategy, and ensuring the platform scales with rapid international growth. They deploy multiple times per day, so youll need experience in a similar startup environment. Further, the Tech Lead will be a key partner to the founders, translating business goals (eg US expansion) into a clear technical roadmap and high-quality, high-velocity execution. Requirements: Strong experience across the stack: TypeScript, React Native, React, Node, Postgres, GCP/Firebase A genuine full-stack mindset: happy working in the mobile app, web apps, backend, and writing SQL when needed Confident writing efficient, production-ready code - fast, reliable, observable, and easy to maintain Comfortable with a high-pace release culture Product-focused, enabling you to empathise with users and steer feature development 6+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally in a fast-moving startup or product-led environment Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mentality, and ability to work in GMT-friendly time zones Deep practitioner of AI powered SWE tools (Cursor, Windsurf, v0, etc.) and excited to push productivity to the limit Tech Stack: Mobile Apps: (TypeScript, React Native, Expo) Backend: (TypeScript, GCP/Firebase Cloud Functions, GCP Pub/Sub, Postgres, Prisma) Web Apps: (TypeScript, React, Vercel) Internal ERP: (TypeScript, Next.js, Vercel) Key upcoming projects: Building out US infrastructure and mobile applications Full mobile application UX overhaul Launch of web applications for users This is an inflexion point for the business.
