HGV Class 2 Driver Widnes, Cheshire People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Widnes, Cheshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, with room for growth and progression. Shifts Monday Friday Start times between 4am 7am Rates of Pay 16.90 24.90 per hour Benefits Ongoing position with a leading company in the industry Thorough first-day assessment and training as required Competitive rates of pay Weekly pay Day-to-Day Duties Driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently Completing 512 product deliveries to various stores across the UK each day Ensuring all loads remain at correct temperature and are safe and secure Safely unloading cages using a tail lift and delivering them into stores Completing all necessary paperwork Essential Skills Minimum 24 months' experience driving Category C vehicles Valid UK Category C Driving Licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card No more than six points for minor offences (no DR10, DG10, IN10, TT99) No major endorsements Strong customer service skills Desirable Experience Multi-drop store delivery experience Training Provided First-day assessment followed by training as required, plus industry-related training and ongoing support.
