Summary We are seeking a passionate Nursery Manager to join our team at Giggles day nursery in Bramley. This role is vital in shaping the educational experiences of our children and leading our dedicated staff. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. Lead and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere. Develop and implement educational programs that align with early childhood education standards. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in childcare. Build strong relationships with parents and the community to promote the nursery's mission. Manage budgets, resources, and staffing effectively to support operational goals. Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adapt programs accordingly. Promote continuous professional development for staff through training and workshops. Proven experience in nursery management or similar roles within the childcare sector. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. In-depth knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Relevant qualifications in childcare or education (e.g., Level 3 or above). Experience working directly with children in a nursery setting. Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively. A valid driving license is preferred but not essential.
