HGV Class 2 Driver Days People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Driver Days based in Birmingham, Aston, West Midlands . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay with long-term, ongoing work and genuine potential for progression. Shifts Monday to Friday start times between 03:00 and 06:00 Rates of Pay 16.00 per hour Benefits Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay On-site canteen Training provided Immediate starts available Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties Store deliveries (handball involved) Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured correctly Adhering to traffic laws and regulations Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers Reporting any defects or maintenance needs Assisting with loading and unloading as required Using electric or manual pump trucks Using tail lifts Typically completing 78 deliveries/collections per shift Essential Skills Valid UK Category C Licence Minimum 24 months' experience driving Category C vehicles No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only) Valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card Good spoken and written English Excellent punctuality and timekeeping Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving commercial vehicles Previous multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided Full industry-related training around processes and procedures with ongoing support Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information.
