Our client, a leading Civil Engineering and Infrastructure specialist, is seeking a Site Engineer to join their team in Basingstoke. Responsibilities: Provide site engineering support across multiple projects, including establishing survey control and setting out works per contract drawings. Carry out regular checks to ensure accuracy, compliance, and safe delivery of all works. Promote safe working practices, follow all company procedures, and meet legal and environmental obligations. Encourage and implement best practices while ensuring all work is delivered defect-free. Identify and highlight value-engineering opportunities. Maintain accurate records in line with organisational and legal requirements. Resolve technical issues and unexpected site problems promptly. Prepare procurement schedules and coordinate with procurement to maintain adequate site resources. Produce ITPs, task briefings, two-week look-ahead plans (with the Site Agent), Site Diaries, and Allocation Sheets. Required Experience: Previous experience of setting out on civil engineering projects Clean water experience on infrastructure projects. Sewer diversions, familiar with works taking place in the highway. Sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations Fully conversant with the use of robotic total station or EDM instruments Degree qualified/HNC (or equivalent) in civil engineering Excellent communication skills Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook Confined space training Desirable Experience in using AutoCAD and MS Office Temporary-works co-ordination CSCS card Cable avoidance training First aid training NEBOSH or IOSH TPBN1_UKTJ
