The Role Due to rapid growth and continuous success we are delighted to confirm that we are currently seeking a Gas Supervisor to join our Fortem team at our Birmingham South branch. We are looking for someone to take responsibility for leading and directing a team of tradespeople and subcontractors undertaking specified gas works. The Project You will be the first point of contact for trades for any technical issues that need resolving so a good understanding of building maintenance and Health and Safety requirements is key. You will need the ability to performance manage, coach and continue to increase the capability of the current team to achieve the best results within agreed time frames to deliver a great service to our customers. Essential and Desirable Criteria The successful candidate will meet the following criteria: Essential Criteria Management experience Experience of managing Gas trades teams Install/maintenance and servicing knowledge Gas Safe Registered Good communication and leaderships Good dispute resolution skills City and Guilds qualifications to appropriate level Current Gas accreditations CCN1, CEN1, HTR1, CKR1 DBS check to be clear Able to use Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) Desired Criteria Good understanding of building maintenance, central heating, and domestic appliances MET1, WAT1 IT literate Social Housing/Refurbishment experience CSCS HAPS test certificate & CSCS skills card Personal Qualities Manage and lead a team of up to 15 qualified Gas Engineers Liaise with planning to assist service delivery Dealing with team, contractor and internal Gas enquiries Lead and support the team, including under performance Site visits and Engineer audits ( Office 70% / Site 30%).
