Job DescriptionAbout usSubmit your CV and any additional required information after you have read this description by clicking on the application button.We are a busy local independent garage and are looking to recruit a new member of staff to work along side our existing team of technicians.The ideal candidate for this position should have experience with the maintenance and repair of vehicles.Main duties will include:Maintaining, servicing, and repairs of all makes of vehiclesCarry out routine repairs to brakes, suspension, exhaust , tyres, clutch and timing beltsCarrying out diagnostics and electrical testing on vehiclesPrepare vehicles for sale.Diagnose engine and transmission problems.Communicating with colleagues and customers as and when requiredThe ideal candidate will need to be:Qualified to NVQ or City and Guilds level 3 or equivalentHave good problem-solving skills in diagnosing mechanical issuesHave a full driving licenceExperienced in the work placeHave good customer service skillsMOT Class 4 testing licence and EV training would be advantageous xjdpvnf but training can be providedJob Type: Full-timePay: 32,000.00-47,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionEmployee discountFree parkingOn-site parkingSick payLicence/Certification:City & Guilds Automotive (preferred)Driving Licence (preferred)Work Location: In person
