We are recruiting for a Stores Person to join an Aerospace Company near Horsham Role Overview This role ensures that inventory processes meet strict industry standards and regulatory requirements, supporting the smooth operation of maintenance and engineering teams. You will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issue, and control of aerospace parts, tools, and consumables. Key Responsibilities Receiving & Inspection Receive incoming goods, verify against delivery notes, and check for damage or discrepancies. Ensure all items are correctly logged into the inventory management system. Storage & Inventory Control Organise and maintain stock in designated storage areas. Conduct cycle counts and assist with stock audits. Maintain accurate records of stock levels and transactions. Issuing & Dispatch Issue parts, tools, and consumables to engineers and departments as required. Prepare and package items for dispatch, ensuring compliance with aerospace shipping regulations. Compliance & Safety Adhere to aerospace industry standards and company procedures for handling aircraft parts. Ensure hazardous materials are stored and handled safely. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised stores environment. Systems & Administration Use inventory management software to update stock movements. Assist with documentation for traceability and regulatory compliance. Support procurement activities when required. Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics role (aerospace industry experience preferred). Knowledge of inventory control systems and processes. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Forklift license or willingness to train (desirable).
