Our public sector client based in Mountsorrel, Loughborough is currently seeking an experienced Refuse Collection Loader to join their team as soon as possible! This will be a temporary opportunity, working on going until further notice. There is also the opportunity to gain a contract after 12 weeks depending on performance. The hours of work will be 6:00am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday with a pay rate of 12.21 per hour. Is this the right opportunity for you? This role can be physically demanding and involves heavy lifting & walking 8-10 miles per shift in all weather conditions Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job Undertake all duties in a professional manner, deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to the articles left for removal Use in-cab technology/mobile devices as directed Complete relevant paperwork in real time Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after usage Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public What you'll need to succeed: Good communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated Willingness to undertake tasks Previous relevant experience in a refuse collecting role is essential Please apply online in the first instance, send your CV to or call Barker Ross Lincoln on 01522 551910 today!
