A specialist SEMH school in Maidenhead is seeking a bright, enthusiastic Mental Health Assistant to support students' academic learning, emotional wellbeing and behaviour. This is a full-time role starting ASAP, working with children aged 8-18 who require consistent, child-centred support. The school adopts a therapeutic approach and offers a wide range of training to the successful Mental Health Assistant. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. Graduates in relevant fields such as Psychology, Counselling, Criminology or related subjects are strongly encouraged to apply. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with on-site therapists and psychologists. You will receive mentoring, have the opportunity to shadow professional sessions, and gain invaluable experience supporting children with special educational needs and mental health challenges.
