MacGregor Black is proud to partner with a leading premium Beverage Producer in their search for a Fermenter. This is a Permanent role, based in Buckinghamshire. This is a hands-on production role at the heart of the business, guiding live fermentations and getting hands on with making the their key brands. You’ll work with cutting-edge equipment, support bottling and warehouse operations, and ensure every batch meets the brand’s exceptionally high standards. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct and monitor day-to-day fermentations and filtrations in line with the production schedule. - Follow fermentation and filtration SOPs precisely, maintaining the highest levels of hygiene and safety. - Work closely with the Operations and Quality teams to identify risks and maintain consistency across all batches. - Support packaging operations across bottling and canning lines when required. - Assist with warehouse duties including stock checks, box builds, and general production flow. - Maintain records, monitor equipment, and perform Cleaning in Place (CIP) procedures. - Ensure compliance with SALSA and BRC standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. What We’re Looking For: - 2–3 years’ experience in brewing, fermentation, or beverage production, or relevant qualifications (e.g. IBD GCB). - Practical understanding of fermentation processes and microbiological control. - Confident using brewing or production management software (e.g. Breww). - Physically fit, adaptable, and proactive with excellent attention to detail. - Team player with a positive attitude, able to work shifts and maintain high standards in a dynamic environment. - Forklift truck certification desirable.
