Job Description: Were looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join our solar operations team. In this hands-on role, youll be out in the field keeping our solar PV systems performing at their best safe, reliable, and efficient. What youll do Carry out routine maintenance, testing, and repairs on solar PV systems Deliver preventative and corrective maintenance in line with the annual plan (and as issues arise) Diagnose and resolve faults across AC and DC systems Log daily site activities through our online reporting system Complete risk assessments and report near misses Supervise and coordinate third-party contractors, ensuring H&S compliance Maintain accurate testing and maintenance records for audits Stay up to date with fire, health, and safety requirements Be prepared for occasional nights away and weekend rota work (with extra pay) What youll bring Level 3 City & Guilds/NVQ in Electrical Installations C&G 2382-18 and 2391-52 (or equivalent) HV AP qualification 3 years experience in Solar PV O&M (ground mount) Solid knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, HV systems, and industry-standard testing equipment Familiarity with CCTV and SCADA systems First Aid and Fire Marshal training (or willingness to train) Harness and IOSH qualifications (desirable training can be provided) Whats in it for you Additional weekend rota pay KPI-driven bonus scheme Training opportunities up to Level 4 Pension (up to 6% employer contributions) Full private health cover 4x life cover 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) Company vehicle, mobile, PC, and PPE provided Job Type: Full-time Application question(s): Do you hold a Level 3 City & Guilds/NVQ in Electrical Installations, along with C&G 2382-18 and 2391-52 (or equivalent)?
