HGV Class 1 Driver Days People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver Days to join our client's well-established transport operation based in Motherwell . Shifts Start times between 03:00 08:00 5 days out of 7 Day shifts only Rates of Pay 16.00 25.00 per hour Benefits As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive the following benefits: Excellent hourly rates Consistent full-time work Weekly pay Temp-to-perm opportunities for the right candidates Immediate starts available On-site parking with easy motorway access Supportive and professional team environment Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): Operating and driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and efficiently Conducting daily vehicle checks and completing all required documentation Loading and delivering goods between designated locations Handling double-decker trailers where required Ensuring all loads are safely and securely restrained Communicating effectively with transport teams and customers Adhering to road traffic laws, safety standards, and company procedures Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need: A valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence A valid UK CPC card and Digital Tachograph card No more than six penalty points for minor offences (excluding IN, DR, DD, or CD endorsements) A reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work A good level of physical fitness, including manual handling capability Strong knowledge of road safety and compliance requirements Desirable Experience Previous experience in retail or distribution deliveries Training Provided Full onboarding support provided Paid two-day site induction Ongoing driver support and development throughout the assignment Apply If you are ready to join a respected logistics business offering excellent pay, flexibility, and long-term opportunities, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information.
