Job Title : Advanced Level 3 Manufacturing & Engineering Apprentice Work Schedule: Onsite Tewkesbury, GBR Moog Aircraft Group is offering Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship opportunities at our state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing facility in Tewkesbury. Our apprenticeship program provides a solid foundation in engineering principles and practical skills, combining hands-on experience with academic learning. The Level 3 qualification is equivalent to A-levels and is designed for those looking to start their career in engineering while gaining valuable industry experience. Youll work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real projects, and develop the technical expertise needed for future progression. What will I do as an Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering Apprentice at Moog? As an apprentice, youll gain practical experience through on-site placements while studying for nationally recognised qualifications. Youll develop skills in areas such as product assembly, machining, and equipment maintenance. Your first year will be full-time education at Gloucestershire Engineering Training (GET), where youll build both practical and theoretical knowledge across a range of subjects. In the following years, youll join Moog full-time, attend GET on a day-release basis, and work towards completing your NVQ qualification. Throughout the program, youll receive regular support and performance reviews from our dedicated apprentice team. We are recruiting for Manufacturing & Engineering apprentices in the M achine Shopand Assembly & Testdepartments. Applicants must have: At least 5 GCSEs, including the minimum of a level 4 (C grade) in Math, and level 4 (C grade) or above in four other subjects including Science and English Please ensure your CV is up to date with details of the qualifications you are currently studying towards, including full titles and levels. You can include predicted grades if you have not completed your studies yet Relevant work experience is done through school or college would be beneficial although is not essential A genuine interest and enthusiasm to undertake a practical, hands-on role in a manufacturing engineeringenvironment You should be able to show us that you are a practical person and have worked on projects either at school or at home that demonstrate this. Application and recruitment process: 1. Application - Apply online with a cover letter and CV the deadline for applications is 30th January 2026. Use your cover letter to tell us: Why do you want to do an apprenticeship and why do you want to work in engineering? What interests do you have away from school/college or work that supports a mechanical aptitude and interest in the principles of engineering? 2. Assessment if you are selected, you will complete an assessment where your skills in areas such as Math and Mechanical aptitude will be assessed. This is an online assessment that you can complete at home, and you will be sent a link to the assessment. There is no preparation or revision required, and the assessment will take approximately 60 minutes. 3. Interview and Assessment Day If you are shortlisted after completing the online assessment, you will be invited to attend one of our assessment centres in Tewkesbury. During the day, you will have an interview, take part in a group exercise, and meet some of the apprentices currently on the scheme. Assessment dates are Monday 16th , Thursday 19th , and Friday 20th February 2026 .
