Job Description

Job overview We have a vacancy for enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant who will be responsible for topping up wards, receiving deliveries and providing administration support for Procurement and Distribution Team We are looking for someone with a good understanding of spoken and written English, basic Maths, basic IT and good communication skills in order to deal with a wide variety of pharmacy staff and ward staff. You should be able to follow procedures closely and be able work well in a team or alone to provide a high-quality patient-focused service. Main duties of the job You will work as part of a team of Pharmacy Assistants by assisting with the accurate receipt of medicines into the Hospital and the replenishment of medicines used on the wards. You must have excellent attention to detail and be willing to undertake a training module relating to the job role. We support training and progression throughout the Pharmacy Department.
