This full-time role is ideal for compassionate individuals who are committed to supporting the educational and developmental needs of students with diverse learning requirements. Day-to-day of the role: Assist in the delivery of tailored educational programs designed to meet the unique needs of each student.Provide one-on-one support to students, focusing on their individual learning and emotional needs.Collaborate with SEN teachers to implement effective teaching strategies and behavioural management techniques.Help prepare learning materials that cater to a range of learning abilities and styles.Facilitate social integration and help students develop interpersonal skills.Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents to help further support the students’ educational journeys. Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in an SEN setting.Understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs.Strong empathy and resilience, with a proactive approach to solving problems.Excellent communication skills, capable of working closely with teachers, parents, and other staff.A patient and motivating influence on mitment to ongoing professional development in the field of special education.
