Premier Recruit are currently recruiting for 3 X HGV2 (Cat C) Driver/Drainage Operatives to work on the Day Shift on a Temporary to Permanent basis for a Drainage Contractor based in Crawley West Sussex, and working in conjunction with Southern Water.Read on to find out what you will need to succeed in this position, including skills, qualifications, and experience.We can offer an almost immediate start to the right candidates.I have 2 new positions that will start on January the 5th 2026 and 1 other position starting on January the 12th so please apply if you will be able to start on these dates.You will be working as part of a 2 or 3 person team unblocking drains outside properties and on the public highway, other work within this job will include some wastewater maintenance work.This work can be dirty & physical at times but will be a secure position working on behalf of a National Utilities Company so there long term is job security with a big company.Newly passed Class 2 drivers are most welcome to apply.Please Note, The first 2 days training / induction for this job will be held at the training centre which is based in Guildford Surrey, before you apply for this role can you please ensure that you are ok to travel to this location.The training is fully paid at the HGV rates.All Personal Protective Equipment will be provided including Jackets,Trousers,Hard Hat and Boots.The shift pattern Will be : Working on a 4 on 4 off rota which are 12 hours work per shift.This will be paid at 15.75 per hour for days and 18.80 per hour for nights.Overtime will be paid at time and a half.Re quirements : A Can do Attitude and are not afraid of physical work.Ability to work as a Team Player.A Full UK Cat C Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.A Valid Digital Tachograph Card.A Valid CPC Card.Additional Information : 12 week Temp to perm Position. xjdpvnf Weekly pay.If you would like to know more about this position before applying please call Brendan on Monday- Friday 11.00am- 17.00pm if you are calling outside of these hours we will get back to you the next working day when convenient.
