Day-to-day of the role: Provide tailored support to children with autism, adapting to their individual learning needs and preferences.Work closely with the classroom teacher to implement educational plans and activities that cater to the needs of children with autism.Assist in the development of social skills by facilitating interactions with other children in a controlled and supportive environment.Monitor and record the progress of children, providing feedback to teachers and parents to help further their development.Employ a variety of educational techniques (e.g., storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children.Ensure the learning environment is safe and conducive to learning for children with autism.
