The Wellington Hospital, Endoscopy Unit, LondonFull time 37.5 hours per weekMonday – Friday, shifts between 7am and 7pm (weekend working also required depending on business needs)Permanent£30,484 per annum + excellent benefitsWe’re looking for an Endoscopy Admin Coordinator based to join our Endoscopy Unit at The Wellington Hospital. The Administration Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of a clinical or non-clinical department by managing key administrative and organisational tasks. This includes scheduling, rota coordination, documentation management, regulatory reporting, and acting as a first point of contact. The role ensures accurate data handling, compliance with standards, and smooth communication across teams, contributing to the efficiency and overall performance of the department.Above all else, we’re committed to the care and improvement of human life. Other’s may think this is just a role in our Materials team, but to us, you’ll be part of a wider team with a unique sense of purpose, one that helps improve lives on a daily basis.What You’ll DoSupport compliance with internal policies and national regulations, including mandatory reporting where applicable (e.g., device registries, audits)Ensure secure handling of sensitive data and patient recordsAssist in planning and updating departmental rotas for staff and servicesCoordinate room and appointment bookings in line with operational requirementsReview and process department charges, ensuring accurate attribution to patient or client accountsLiaise with finance and pharmacy teams (if relevant) to resolve discrepanciesSupport budget tracking and order non-clinical supplies; maintain appropriate stock levelsServe as the first point of contact for the department; welcome visitors and handle general enquiriesAnswer phone calls, manage email inboxes, and provide administrative assistance to internal and external stakeholdersProcess incoming results or correspondence, ensuring timely review and distribution to relevant partiesAssist with payroll support, consultant fees, and invoice managementWhat You’ll BringPrevious admin experience within a hospital setting is essentialFamiliarity with Electronic Patient Records is essentialExcellent Communication skillsGood IT Skills including MS Office and scheduling toolsWhy HCA UK?Originally founded over 50 years ago by Dr Thomas Frist, HCA has gone on to become one of the world’s leading healthcare providers.
