HGV Class 1 & Class 2 | Crewe Working 5 days out 7 (some weekends are required) with various start times available HG Recruitment are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers for ongoing work involving a mixture of multidrop and trunking work for our client based in Crewe. The role involves clean and straightforward delivery to distribution centres. It would be working for a very well established parcel delivery company. Duties: Driving and Delivering: Operate articulated lorries (HGVs) over 3.5 tonnes, transporting goods to various locations, including local, national deliveries. Loading and Unloading: Supervise the loading of vehicles to ensure that all items are secured properly for transit, minimizing the risk of damage. Route Planning: Plan delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival at destinations, adapting to traffic and weather conditions as necessary. Customer Interaction: Maintain regular contact with site personnel and provide exceptional customer service during deliveries. Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies, including vehicle maintenance checks and reporting any issues.
