Electrician (Solar)Location: London & South East EnglandSalary: £45,000-£55,000 or equivalent day rateThese positions are offered either as a contractor or permanent basis, and are not available on a self-employed basis.Are you an experienced Electrician with an interest in renewable energy? We are seeking reliable and skilled workers to work on solar photovoltaic (PV) systems across various projects.General ResponsibilitiesInstall and maintain solar PV systems, including panels, inverters, and electrical componentsConduct electrical testing and inspections to ensure system safety and compliance with regulationsTroubleshoot and repair electrical issues within solar PV systemsEnsure compliance with UK electrical standards and health & safety regulationsProvide technical support and guidance to colleagues, ensuring best practices are followedMaintain accurate records of electrical work, testing, and repairsRequirementsProven experience as a qualified electricianFull valid driving licence and willing to travelRelevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, 18th Edition Wiring RegulationsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamECS Gold CardExperience installing solar PV systems would be beneficialDiversity and InclusionWe believe diversity and inclusion drive innovation and success.
