The ideal candidate will have:Proven experience in a similar accounts or finance roleProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft ExcelStrong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detailGood understanding of core accounting principlesStrong communication skills and the ability to work well within a teamExcellent organisation and time management skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial informationFamiliarity with UK financial regulations and compliance requirementsAbout Your New RoleAlways:Process and record financial transactions accurately, including invoices, payments, and expensesVerify and reconcile invoices and receipts against supporting documentationMaintain and update financial records using accounting softwareReconcile bank statements and investigate discrepanciesProvide general administrative support to the finance functionOften:Assist with the preparation of management reports, budgets, and financial statementsSupport VAT returns and other tax related submissionsAssist with payroll preparation, ensuring accurate recording of hours and deductionsSupport year end audit preparation and liaise with auditorsOccasionally:Contribute to financial analysis and reporting, providing insight into performance and trendsNever:Feel unsupported in your developmentRef (24048)
