The successful candidate will have a passion for and a keen desire to deliver key concepts innovatively to inspire our learners to have lifelong careers in this growing sector.Applicants should have an appropriate degree level qualification, together with experience of working within the sector. Within the personal statement, provide practical examples of how you fulfil the person specification.About The RoleAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Programme Lead and Lecturer (Education, Children and Families) to join our ambitious department at Sunderland College on a 12 month fixed term basis. The successful candidate will work in a thriving Education, Children and Families team, which currently delivers a T Level foundation and T Level (Education and Early Years)This is an exciting time for the team with planned growth and we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Programme Lead and Lecturer with excellent pedagogical skills and industry knowledge or experience.Role ResponsibilitiesPlan, prepare and deliver high quality, sequenced learning through career focused schemes of learning Provide an excellent experience to students through exemplary learning, teaching and standards of assessment Teach students to high standards using appropriate and varied student – centred approaches, embracing learning technologies to enhance the student experience. Actively engage in reflective practice and contribute to the wider professional development programme. Liaise effectively with the wider support team to ensure appropriate and high-quality academic support is provided as required.
