LCCA is looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking Subject Lead to take a central role in driving the BA Business Management programme. As Subject Lead, you’ll be a key force in bringing that vision to life.PositionThe RoleYou’ll lead the design, development and delivery of the BA Business Management curriculum, ensuring teaching remains innovative, engaging and aligned with industry needs. You’ll oversee academic standards, mentor teaching staff, and champion a high-quality student experience across classroom, blended and weekend/evening delivery models.Key ResponsibilitiesLead curriculum design, teaching, assessment and programme development across Levels 4–6.Ensure academic quality, consistency and high professional standards across modules.Create and review learning materials, assessments, handbooks and online resources.Support, guide and collaborate with teaching teams to deliver excellent learning experiences.Maintain strong industry links and stay up to date with sector developments.Provide academic and pastoral support to students, monitoring progress and driving attainment.Contribute to research, professional practice and course-wide development initiatives.Participate in course committees, exam boards and annual monitoring activities.RequirementsAbout YouYou bring proven success teaching in Higher Education, alongside experience in curriculum development, assessment, and student-focused, inclusive delivery. You’re innovative, collaborative and passionate about equipping students with the skills they need to thrive in modern business environments.Essential:BA and postgraduate qualification (or equivalent professional experience)Teaching qualification (PG Cert or equivalent)Strong track record in programme design, teaching and assessmentAbility to motivate students and colleagues, and collaborate across teamsDesirable:PhD or higher research degreeFellowship of the Higher Education AcademyEvidence of research, industry engagement or professional practice contributionsTeaching Areas May Include:Marketing, E-Business & Digital TransformationFinance & AccountingLeadership & Organisational BehaviourProject Management & OperationsEntrepreneurship & EnterpriseGlobal Business & Business StrategySustainability & Business EthicsBusiness Research & Emerging ThemesWorking Pattern & PremiumThe BA Business Management programme is delivered across weekdays, evenings and weekends. Teaching patterns will be arranged around your strengths, preferences and the needs of the course.
