Aarc Estates is a private landlord seeking a reliable, experienced Property Inspector to carry out routine 6-monthly inspections across a portfolio of approximately 70 residential rental properties.All properties are located within a 2-mile radius of N22 (Wood Green), making the work fast, local, and efficient.This is an ad-hoc, pay-per-inspection role (£20–£25 per inspection) with flexible hours. For the right person, this may progress into a part-time property management role later in the year.The RoleYou’ll be responsible for carrying out practical, common-sense inspections of occupied rental properties, ensuring condition, safety, and compliance standards are met.This is a hands-on, field-based role, suited to someone comfortable working independently and dealing professionally with tenants.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out routine 6-monthly inspections of residential rental propertiesTake clear, timestamped photos of each room and key areasComplete a simple condition report (template provided)Submit inspection reports as a PDF within 24 hoursIdentify and flag maintenance, damage, safety, or compliance issuesInspection Pay£20 – Standard inspection£25 – Inspections requiring additional documentation (e.g. damage, leaks, mould, repairs, safety concerns)What We’re Looking ForProven experience inspecting residential rental properties, completing condition reports, and identifying maintenance or compliance issuesExperience working with private landlords, lettings, housing, or property managementComfortable engaging with tenants in occupied homesReliable, organised, and punctualHappy to travel locally between nearby propertiesSmartphone required (no specialist software needed)Relevant backgrounds may include: Property Inspector, Housing Officer, Property Manager, Lettings Officer, Tenancy Officer, Estate Officer.What We OfferFlexible, ad-hoc workAll properties located locally (no long travel)Simple inspection templates and reporting processPrompt paymentOpportunity to move into a part-time property management / office-based role later in the year (Wood Green)Interested?If you have hands-on property inspection or lettings experience and are looking for flexible, local work with a private landlord, we’d love to hear from you.
