This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced, dynamic logistics environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the site is 100% safety compliant, leading the delivery of the sites safety strategy and providing expert QHSE support to operational teams. This is a full-time, permanent position. You will be working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 08:30 till 17:00. What youll do on a typical day: Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and standards Lead the creation and execution of the annual site Safety, Health & Environmental Management Improvement Plan Investigate incidents, near misses, and hazards, ensuring root causes are addressed and preventative actions are implemented Managed site safety documentation, audits, and reporting, including insurance and legal compliance Coordinate planned maintenance and ensure full understanding of fire, gas, electrical, and water systems What you need to succeed at GXO: Strong, proven experience in a QHSE role, ideally within a fast-paced, complex environment NEBOSH General Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Health & Safety (essential) Proven ability to lead change, manage policies, and deliver training Analytical mindset with strong hazard-spotting and problem-solving skills We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
