The company delivers comprehensive FM services to a portfolio of prestigious clients, including major retail, hospitality, and commercial organisations such as Tesco and Stonegate Group.JOB PURPOSETo provide comprehensive HVAC engineering services including installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across multiple client sites. The role ensures optimal system performance, client satisfaction, and adherence to health and safety regulations whilst maintaining the highest professional standards.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTechnical DutiesInstall and commission HVAC components including pipework, ductwork, and control panels to specificationExecute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes on commercial HVAC systemsCarry out reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and emergency repairs efficientlyConduct quality checks and performance testing to ensure system efficiency and complianceIdentify and recommend system improvements or upgrades where appropriateAdministrative & Client ManagementMaintain accurate and comprehensive records including worksheets, materials tracking, and site documentationBuild and maintain professional relationships with clients and site personnelProvide technical guidance and advice to clients regarding HVAC systemsEnsure all work is completed in accordance with company quality standards and client expectationsHealth, Safety & ComplianceAdhere to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards at all timesComplete risk assessments and method statements where requiredMaintain F-Gas regulations compliance and maintain accurate recordsParticipate in the on-call rota (1 in 4 weeks) to provide emergency call-out supportPERSON SPECIFICATIONEssential RequirementsQualifications:F-Gas Certification (Category I minimum)NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (Level 3 preferred)CSCS Card or equivalent construction site safety certificationFull clean UK driving licenceExperience & Skills:Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and repairDemonstrable fault-finding and diagnostic expertiseAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent timekeeping and organisational abilitiesIT proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, Word)Professional attitude with strong customer service skillsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamDesirable RequirementsPrevious experience in facilities management or building services environmentsFirst Aid at Work certificationAsbestos Awareness certificateIPAF certification - Mobile Vertical (3a) and Mobile Boom (3b)PASMA - Mobile Access Tower for UsersUKPIA / SPA Petrol Retail Contractors Safety PassportTERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENTWorking Hours45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 18:00.
