Location: Birmingham, West Midlands, West Midlands, UKCNC Miller Setter ProgrammerLocation BirminghamSalary - £14.50 -£18.50 per hourFull time Hours: 37 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 07.30-16.00, Friday 07.30-12.30, though some flexibility is to be expected.Job DescriptionThe company is a well-established and expanding manufacturing company based in Birmingham and due to current growth, are now looking to recruit for the position of a CNC Miller Setter Programmer.The successful applicant will be based at the production facility in Birmingham.The RoleAs part of a larger strategy to increase productivity across the business, the company are looking to add a skilled and flexible machinist to their team, who's role will be to support the incumbent CNC team with all aspects of their daily tasks as required, while also supporting the Manufacturing Engineers with lean and 5s projects.Working as a hands-on machinist on either Fanuc or Mazak VMC'sProviding absence cover where required.Carrying out TPM /PPM activitiesProgramming online at the controlProving Out.Working on lean or 5S projects.This role would suit somebody with several years' experience of programming Fanuc VMC's, in a wide range of materials, any turning or Mazatrol knowledge will be a bonus.Skills and QualificationsCompleted apprenticeship to Minimum Level 3.Extensive experiencing in setting and running CNC machines.Ability to read drawings including GD&T symbols.A flexible and 'can do' attitude.Mazatrol Experience (Desirable)Turning knowledge (Desirable)Exposure to CAD/CAM (Desirable)Competency with MS Excel, Word (Desirable)CMM operating (Desirable)This is a permanent career opportunity for a time served CNC engineer with a leading employer of choice.Please apply with your CV in the first instance.Wright Staff are acting as an employment business in relation to this vacancy.TPBN1_UKTJ
