As part of this continued investment in their financial planning capability, the business is now seeking an experienced Senior Wealth Planning Assistant to support Wealth Planners and Paraplanners in delivering high-quality client outcomes.This is an excellent opportunity for a capable and detail-oriented Wealth Planning Assistant to join a growing, well-resourced business with a first-class reputation, strong systems, and genuine long-term career prospects. Although offered initially as a 15-month FTC, there is very strong scope for the role to become permanent during that period.The RoleThe Senior Wealth Planning Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and client support to Wealth Planners, acting as a key point of contact for internal teams, product providers, and clients. The role requires a strong understanding of the end-to-end wealth planning process and the ability to work efficiently within a regulated environment.Key responsibilities include:Planner & Administrative SupportProviding high-level administrative support to Wealth PlannersSupporting case submissions to paraplanning and liaising with central servicesProducing accurate client documentation and service agreementsHandling finance-related administration including billing, WIP, commissions, and invoicesMaintaining accurate client records on Xplan and associated systemsEnsuring all work meets internal processes and compliance standardsClient SupportActing as a first point of contact for clients, dealing with general queries and escalating complex matters where appropriatePreparing and submitting CDD and onboarding documentation in line with AML proceduresArranging client meetings, valuations, meeting packs, and diary managementAttending client meetings where required and completing post-meeting actions and minutesPreparing application forms in line with suitability reports and ensuring timely processingHandling client correspondence, post, and letters of authorityMeeting and greeting clients at office locations when requiredTeam Support & DevelopmentSupporting and mentoring junior Wealth Planning AssistantsAssisting with training and quality checking of workSharing knowledge and best practice across the teamContributing to continuous improvement and efficiency initiativesSupporting the wider team during peaks in workloadSkills & Experience RequiredProven experience in a Wealth Planning Assistant or similar roleStrong understanding of the end-to-end wealth planning processGood knowledge of financial planning productsExperience with Xplan / Intelliflo highly desirableVoyant experience desirableStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organisation, planning, and prioritisation skillsStrong client service and communication skillsGood numerical abilityProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelGood understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within wealth managementWhat’s on OfferCompetitive salary of £40,000–£45,000 (approx.)Discretionary bonusComprehensive benefits package (including pension and healthcare)Hybrid working model with flexibility after probationExposure to high-quality advisers and complex client casesStrong opportunity for the role to become permanentLong-term career development within a growing wealth management businessIf you’re an experienced Financial Planning Administrator seeking a new opportunity with one of the UK’s leading wealth managers, please do apply and we can mange the process on your behalf.
