Machine Controller / POS Representative East Coast Main Line (ECML) Van & Fuel PAYE/Umbrella Days - 24 p/h Nights - 25 p/h Weekend - 26 p/h We are recruiting an experienced Machine Controller to join our established Rail Plant division delivering on/off-Tracking, RRV movements and possession support works across the East Coast Main Line route (Berwick-upon-Tweed to London Kings Cross and associated branches). Head Office is Doncaster where you will report to your line manager. Key Details: 5-on roster (days, nights & weekends as required by possession and midweek work streams) Full-time, contract position with overtime paid for additional shifts Depot base flexible (works predominantly ECML Newcastle, Doncaster, Peterborough & London areas) Company van fuel card provided from home All hotels, subsistence and travel expenses paid when working away Core Responsibilities: Acting as Machine Controller and POS Rep (Single Machine & Multi-Machine sites) Planning and delivering safe on/off tracking of RRVs, MEWPs, cranes and specialist plant Completing pre-work machine inspections, daily/weekly checks and defect reporting via iPad (full training given on our digital platform) Liaising with CRANE CONTROLLERS, COSS/ES, Engineering Supervisors and Network Rail delivery teams Ensuring full compliance with NR/L2/RMV/0200/P06 (Machine Controller) and NR/L2/OHS/019 Essential Competencies: PTS AC (current) COSS (current) Machine Controller Full Clean UK driving licence Computer literate confident using iPad/tablet apps (training provided on our system) Strong safety focus and professional attitude when dealing with clients and Network Rail staff Engineering Supervisor (ES) or Possession Support (PS) This is a fantastic opportunity for established MC/COSS who want regular, well-paid work on a flagship UK route with all travel and accommodation taken care of.55b20050-bc17-4e5d-bfce-3c406318dffc
